I stopped drinking soda, ate very little meat and made all my food (no processed food).
I also only ate until I was barely not hungry.
I lost about 50 pounds (230 to 180).
....
That lasted about 3-5 years (I slide back slowly). Now I am back to 240 and knocking back a coke as I type this.
Weirdly I do feel more productive in thought based tasks (writing, research etc.) now vs while I was healthy, but I definitely was in better shape and could get more done physically back then.
