Charges about to be dropped? With an aggressive lawyer Scottie could sue
Especially if he can get the cop saying anything false or vindictive on body cam once the other officers show up. That’s pretty outrageous to base an arrest on. Lawyer can probably bring an expensive counterclaim and fight. Better to just drop it quietly.

Based on what I saw of the prosecutor a couple days ago in the initial hearing, there’s no chance charges get dropped.
