think it's a great point regarding the environmental impact of electric vehicles vs. gas. The biggest impact I think were going to find, over time, is the replacement of the vehicles themselves. Think about how many non-replaceable-battery operated devices you have in your household that are older than 5 years that still get used on a regular basis. There are very few, if any, in my household. I currently drive a 15yo vehicle, and with luck will continue to for another decade. Try that with an electric vehicle.
