I would not put together a Top 12 QBs of all-time list and try and put QBs from completely different eras in it. I would go with three categories -- pre-1978 QBs, QBs whose careers spanned both pre- and post-1978 rules, and post-1978 rules. Putting Bart Starr in the same ballpark as Tom Brady, but ignoring Steve Young is absurd.
