It’s almost like high density housing actually promotes traffic…
It kills me when we’re fed the idea that high density will eliminate traffic and everyone will be fit, happy, and live in walkable communities.

The reality is that this only works if everyone wants to work, live, shop, and play within the same 10 square mile area.

But when you’re building townhouses like they’re going out of style in Santaquin, Eagle Mountain, South Jordan, and Tremonton, you’re just packing 10x the cars in the same areas.

Utah communities haven’t been planned for sustainability or desirability. They were planned for developers to sell residential units and get out.
