RE: Naperville has a Metra station and beautiful neighborhoods.
Spent 5.5 years at the south end of the Aurora/Naperville border.
Unless you're taking Metra downtown, it's still 30 minutes from anything 7 miles away, south of 88, during rush hour. Heck, even on Saturday's.
Kids would drive 30 min to church for seminary and then another 30 min back to their High School. 45-60 min when there was snow.
Beautiful area, great place to raise a family. Loved my time there. But if you didn't hit the right stoplight interval, it was a bit maddening.

The state is too blame. They had a golden opportunity several years ago to build a highway with no stoplights off i-15
