Swisfromdeep, I totally agree with you. Up until the BCS era, “Business as Usual” worked very well for us. Once BCS came into play, It stopped working for us but nobody did anything about it. Nobody made the necessary changes.

Now that BCS is gone, and P5 is the name of the game today, and since the SEC is pushing for all P5 teams in all P5 conferences to play only P5 teams from out of conference for their non conference games, and while saying that, and while expressing very clearly that ND would qualify as a P5 team but BYU would not, it makes things very clear, that unless we change the way we do business, we will soon free fall into non significance.

If that does not make things clear enough, the Big 4 play offs should, using as an example, TCU/BAYLOR/Ohio State showing just how important SOS really is.
