And bringing up tourney shares...you're right. You share in what other conference teams do. Which, until this season, has not been much. Especially considering that the PAC-12 has 12 teams. This is the first year it will even be decent, for a top 6 basketball conference.
As far as Final 4's....the PAC-12 has the longest drought of any Top 8 conference, plus the Missouri Valley. For a major basketball conference, 2008 was a long time ago. I have followed the PAC-12 my whole life. It was only a few years that I realized that it is easily the weakest of the Major conferences. Outside of 1997 Zona, the last non-UCLA National Championship was 1959 (Cal).
In other words, until UCLA or Zona really gets it going again, the PAC-12 won't be making all that much tourney revenue, IMO.
