That is a safe bet to make. Much more likely that K wants out than the

school needing to fire him/buy him out. He runs a system that makes it unlikely his teams will ever be bad as long as he can get the types of players he needs, and the Pac12 membership plus the head coach being under a long term contract helps make sure that will be the case.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the team next year if Poetl leaves.
