A recent state audit shows that the BB program had a $2M profit

for the 2013-14 year. It's share (15%) of the Pac-12 distribution, that Utah receives, amounted to $2.9M. Utah was getting 75% of the per-school distribution. Beginning with this current fiscal year, Utah receives a full share; the basketball program will get around $4M. The revenue is there and they can well afford the salaries.
