I don't think taxpayers should pay for sports at the Yew - the Yew can get their
funds from donors just like BYU does. What makes the Yew so different that they can't support their athletics program the same way BYU does? BYU proves that you don't need taxpayer money in college sports.

Utahans pay middle school science teachers $20,000 but "coach k" over $2MM. "Coach k's" salary seems an unreasonable and unwise use of tax dollars.

FWIW - I also don't think taxpayers should pay to subsidize my Yankees.
