They did. 1) he was fired before the story broke. 2) there had been an
investigation a few years ago that proved inconclusive.
It surely could have been handled better. It was something from his time at Arizona that got him canned.
Honenstly, what in the world would Chris Hill have to gain by protecting a swim coach? Simple, he wouldn't and didn't. He maybe should have acted more swiftly but we will all be shocked it there is any collusion between Hill and the swim coach. The current investigation should uncover anything there may be.
If there is, Hill will be shown the door. Plain and simple.
