Chris Hill may be in trouble here. Which is really unfortunate.

Fact is, I like Hill and do hope that he stays our AD. That said, he is responsible for all athletics. If he just didn't pay enough attention to swimming, that is bad enough (or at least pay enough attention after he received letters etc.).

Every coach will get complaints. Every coach likely has letters sent by parents about them. Student athletes rarely come forward on their own, etc. It can be tricky but Hill and the Utes needed to be a little more dillegent. You can't subject sutdents to this kind of situation.

Fired or not, he was not retained as a coach and I look at that as a form of being fired. The sex scandal was all in Arizona and the guy should be let go based on that alone. Abusive practiceses, coming to practices hung over or still drunk, turning his head when team members were caught buying pot, etc. This isn't a good situation.

Where there is smoke there is generally fire. We will see what comes out of this.
