Incorrect. Winslow was suspended and put on paid administrative leave
when the university became aware of the Arizona State investigation. A few days later it was announced that his contract will not be renewed. But he was not fired. He may still be on the school's payroll. That detail is unclear.

One of many articles where you can find this information: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/2013/03/04/utah-swimming-greg-winslow-sex-abuse-allegations/1963323/

Also, the prior investigation appears to have been woefully inadequate. Indications are that they did not talk to swimmers who had left the program and did not even talk to all of the then-current participants. To be taken seriously, an investigation needs to reach out to those most likely to have harmful things to say, not just those who may be understandably motivated to not cause any trouble for Winslow because they want to keep their scholarships. Investigations, when not done properly, can do more harm than good, because they are used as justifactions for failure to take real action.
