Bronco in person is a good recruiter, but he has made mistakes, and tries to compensate by making all encompassing recruiting directives.
I agree he has embraced the differences and turned them into a positive, but he needs to approach his recruiting philosophy with some more flexibility, not every kid/situation is the same, just because you got duped a time or 2 by a couple of kids, doesn't mean you need to make a philosophy change that now applies to all future kids.
And Yes, his "players recruit BYU" directive has been put on display enough times for me to conclude it is a recruiting directive that has hurt BYU recruiting.
