That position group has been poor for 3 years, perhaps 4. And it was only in the 2013 season that they went for JC guys to fill gaps, which was 3 years later than it should have been. Far too many 4-year 2* star Oline recruits. Would be better to not offer those, and go after a 3* JC kid, with only a 2 year miss rather than a 4-year miss if they do not pan out. JC kids can help the program.
LaVell used Ricks for JC line players to fill gaps. Bronco needs to use JC in the same way he does with corners now. So I'll be curious to see if BYU offers any JC line players in this class or not, or is content with what they have for 2014. Even 1 player could make a difference.
