Ansah is a better athlete and will have a much better pro career, but Kona is a prototypical 3-4 DE, and I think he is very similar to B. Kaufusi in play, just a bit bigger and half a step slower, but the size is why he will be drafted. Frankly BYU has made due with several smallish, non-prototypical 3-4 DE's since Bronco showed up and switched us to a 3 man front, I think Kona would have done well at BYU, especially when you take into account how desperate we were for DL talent back in '10.

And bringing up Hauoli Jamora! he is another posterboy for the Bronco recruiting philosophies that hindered recruiting, he killed at the All poly but didn't go to the BYU camp because he didn't have the resources, so he went to the bronco recruiting dog house, and then he didn't gush over BYU hard enough so BYU never recruited him very hard, so his recruitment withered on the vine. I think Talo Steves spent more time "recruiting" him than coaches did, another whiff.
