Bronco pulled his scholly because he was visiting ND with a HS teammate after committing to BYU and Bronco felt he didn't want to come to BYU bad enough because he was taking the visit, the Schwenkes called Bronco from the airport before he left to try to clear the matter up and Bronco said, "you get on the plane, your scholarship is pulled"
How am I reading to much into "kids recruit BYU" than that example?
BTW Kona was a 4* committed prospect when BYU was in desperate need of DL help, and he had a pretty decent year for ND and is a borderline NFL draft prospect, Bronco did the proverbial, cut your nose off to spite the face with him recruitingwise.
