The program has been in a freefall since Max and co graduated. Think about all the terrible decisions that have been made since 2009. Here are a few...rotating Heaps/ Nelson every other series, turning the D over to Jaime, firng coaches and making them re apply for their jobs, hiring bishop Doman and Weber to run the O and the teams most important pisition group, allowing Abdominals Nelson to play with a broken back, instructing the candy yewted O- lineman to play at 280, failing miserably in recruiting in 2011 and 2012 and then trying to apply lipstick to a big fat pig, losing to Utah 4 years in a row, watching Utah land a coveted spot in the PAC while we were blowing it with the big 12 over insignificant details...I could go on.

I used to believe BYU could compete and be a nationally recognized and respected program, a team that should always be in or near the top 25. I was way off. Under the direction of Bronco, we should expect to get hammered by most ranked teams on our schedule, lose to Utah, be grouped with the non P5, and finish somewhere in the 40-60 range at the end of the year...right about where we recruit.

Fans are already losing interest and have been doing so for years. BYU isn't cool anymore. BYU isn't big brother anymore. With all that said, BYU needs to win and win now. BYU needs an undefeated seasn or a Big 12 invite to reverse the trend of apathy and pesimism. Something big needs to happen to wins fans back because right now there just isn't anything good happening with BYU football.
