He said we were going to do everything necessary to be competitive...
...and worthy of being associated with the big-boys, and that yes, we were going to be more and more positioned away from the have-nots of football.
When I hear him say that we aren't going to match every single stupid thing at the P5 schools do, I don't have a problem with that at all, just as long as I know BYU intends to do the big things that make sense to keep us in the upper-echelon of football.
We'll see how crazy the P5 gets, but I actually think real money concerns from the poorer schools will keep this from getting too crazy.
