Spot on with this one - embodies everything I dislike about the Honor Code. It shouldn't extend to anything not covered in the commandments found in LDS doctrine.
I agree that a lot of these punishments are harsher than they need to be. But I am glad that BYU stands up for its standards, even if those might be a bit too strict. I agree that we should really step up our expression of appreciation for JJ and the other suspended players. I hope lots of people have signs at the first home game!
