I agree to an extent. Next year can be magical, but this year can get us in a
New Year's day bowl game which has a huge payout. That is the equivalent of the former BCS bowl games. That is something we haven't achieved since arguably '96. So this year could be our best year in 18 years. If we do that, then next could be set up to be our best since '84. Running the table this year and ending high has several advantages. It allows us to make a run at the playoffs next year, allows Taysom to remain in Heisman contention, and gets us into a high paying high exposure bowl game and prove that we are not a flash in the pan program like TCU.
