That's not entirely accurate
The pundits are always talking about whether or not BYU will qualify for the collegiate playoff. Absolutely nobody I have listened to has said that we wouldn't qualify for a NY6 bowl if we remain undefeated. I agree, it will take some rather extraordinary circumstances for us to be in the playoff this year with our schedule. However, I also think it would take some rather extraordinary circumstances to keep us out of a NY6 bowl if we remain undefeated.
