The Brethren and BoD will shut down the program before they will EVER subject themselves to being held accountable for the Football program.

This would be akin to holding the Stake Presidency and High Council responsible for poorly organized and executed Ward Activities. Their attitude is these activities (Sporting Events) are opportunities to get together, fellowship, eat frozen hamburger patties, on thin buns, with off brand punch to drink.
