Fact: Ziggy played before Manu got hurt...he just wasn't the starter on a defense that normally only works when all assignments are fulfilled on pretty much every down...so regardless of freakish physical abilities it would still be prudent to put the player in positions where he will know and be able to do his assignment...

When was that line crossed that Ziggy was that prepared? Was it that at the time of injury he was really prepared or just became the one most prepared?

This is silly - one can also whine about why KVN wasn't starting every game as a true freshman...he played a lot but wasn't getting starts...
