Why be a selfish jerk? Just get your butt over and let people by. You know what you've been taught about the flow of traffic, so be a part of it. If you're really going the speed limit and there are cars going both faster and slower than you, don't stay in the left lane. If there's only 2 lanes, suck it up and get over when you see someone coming up.

BTW, yes, I should have been specific. With my OP I'm mainly talking about people going slow. I'm not going 90 freaking out that people are in the left lane going 80 yet "slower." I'm talking about how ridiculously often people are over in the left lane(s) going 5-10 under, usually some old person or someone on their phone, or some chick talking to her friends not caring what's going on around them. Either that or some idiot who simply doesn't care. You get one person doing that and it can disrupt things in every lane. You end up having to weave all around because you've got a slow semi in one lane, and a long line with no room in the middle, then some slow guy in the left lane not moving for anything.

But yes, like I said, even if you ARE going the speed limit, suck it up and get over when cars are behind you clearly looking to pass. Or if people are passing you on the right. Don't disrupt everything just because you think everyone else "isn't your concern."

Rant over. Selfish drivers should be in prison.
