Aggressive drivers are usually the most alert out there. It takes a high level of alertness to drive that way. I'd prefer a freeway full of drivers who fit into that category over drivers content to sit in the fast lane cruising along, never moving over for faster drivers, and cluelessly forcing them to aggressively maneuver around them on the right. Daydreaming, clueless drivers like this are the ones who have nearly caused me to wreck, because they make impulsive moves, or dumb ones and are constantly being surprised by changing conditions. Aggressive drivers go about their business with their head on a swivel. I see far more wrecks from drivers casually going about their business and not focusing on the road, and sadly, these are the types you often find camped in the left lane.
