Go ahead and flame all you want. 1. Sports is pure entertainment. No one is getting ahead in their careers or impovig their position in life when a sports team wins or loses anyting (except for the players themselves). 2. Like it or not the mission of the church is to represent Christ and take his message to the world. That includes the fan bases. They have rotten fans and we have rotten fans. They have good fans we have good fans. We will always have mud thrown on us by anti-Mormon contingents. Its to be expected. How we respond is who we really are. Take for example the Baylor BB game a couple of years ago where we congratulated the Heisman trophy winner from that school. That had a huge impact on that school's perception of us. 3. The BYU sports teams do not take money from the tithe payers, that has been made abundantly clear for years. It is self supporting and designed that way. and 4. I do not believe they play sports in heaven. We should enjoy all our cougars but keep in mind I do not believe God roots for any team over another. I believe all he wants from us is to represent him well and preparing his kingdom.

So, in spite of their poor behaviors and our poor behaviors, congratulations to the Utes for a good season and am looking forward to playing them again in 2016.
