Jabari hasn't done much in the NBA to be followed in the NBA. You follow Jabari?
Okay. I follow... you know... Steph Curry. I follow Damian Lillard. I follow Kobe Bryant, KD, and Lebron. I also follow the stories of teams that are winning/winning-against-the-odds, so I follow what's going on with the Spurs and the Hawks of the NBA world. But Jabari??

I, like every other normal sports fan... follow the stars of the NBA, along with the Utah Jazz.

You guys follow Jabari because he's a mormon. There's no sense in denying any of it... that's the only reason you really follow him. He had a very short college career. There is nothing about this guy that is special for any sports fan unless you're a Duke fan (maybe not even that... he only played for one year, and the stars that come out of Duke are like a dime a dozen... Jabari is a long forgotten memory since the arrival of Jahlil Okafor), or you're a Bucks fan...

or a mormonism fan.

You talk about people shoving it in everyone's face about not being a Jabari Parker fan. That's not what I'm doing here. I actually get tired of seeing posts about mormon athletes that have nothing to do with BYU, or even mormonism really... he's just mormon. What has Jabari even done to rep his mormonhood? *crickets*. He's a mormon, and mormons like to shout about other mormons. See!? We're legit! We got a star basketball player! The rest of the sports world says... okay, calm down.

You may think I have something against Jabari. I don't. I think he's done really well for himself and that's great. He seems like a great kid/guy. The expectation for him to come to BYU was unrealistic on some fans' part, and if they're butthurt about him spurning BYU then they're not following him for the wrong reasons, and should stop hating, BUT HE DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH BYU.

So, to your rant, I answer with my own. Why do people feel the need to shove it in our face every time a mormon athlete does something, when they have absolutely nothing to do with BYU? If I were a baptist should I start posting about every baptist athlete out there? I'm sure that would get real old, real quick.

Rant over.
