You guys follow Jabari because he's a mormon. There's no sense in denying any of it... that's the only reason you really follow him.

Granted, many do follow Jabari because he's a mormon, but to claim that is the ONLY reason someone might be a JP fan is just plain silly. There are plenty of Mormons who play basketball, and there are plenty of #2 draft picks who aren't LDS. Jabari was a special talent and has a ton of potential. He is the face of the Bucks despite mediocre numbers so far this season. Let me repeat that: Jabari, an NBA freshman, is already the face of an NBA franchise. That's nothing to shake a stick at. Also, if I remember correctly Jabari was on a Sports Illustrated cover as a high school basketball player. I'm guessing I'm not the only fan who read that article and wanted to learn more. I'm probably not the only one who watched some of his HS games on t.v. I did that for another player who also graced the cover of SI in HS... the only other one to have done so. And I'm pretty sure Lebron isn't Mormon. It's o.k. to follow NBA players who are not yet superstars, even if they are Mormon.
