"There are so many other things about BYU football that are exciting for me. The sounds and smells. Driving to the games with my kids and making bets... final score predictions, who scores the first TD (winner gets a soda!), etc. High fiving after great plays. Booing the refs. Finding a spot after the games to high five the players. Etc. Etc. Sure, winning makes all of the above better. But losing doesn't negate any of it. I get my excitement from the experience, not from the outcome.
