Even to the untrained eyeballs, which includes 99.9% of this board, that's weak.
BYU put up points this year. It improved tremendously in 3rd down and redzone percentages from the previous year. 17th ranked is 17th ranked. It doesn't require quibbling. Everyone plays bottom feeders. In the aggregate it balances out reasonably well. There is no need to quibble about putting up 37 points a game. A predictable offense wouldn't do it. All of the other teams are coached by pros. They all have film. They all have far, far more resources than the arm chair coaches on this board. They couldn't predict BYU well enough to keep BYU from scoring 37 points a game...because BYU wasn't predictable.
