Please don't confuse objective feedback as tearing down the team.
I have and never will personally attack a player or a coach. That would be tearing them down. I will however, point out what I see as correctable mistakes. Although I mentioned late game management as one area for improvement, you are correct in that there is opportunity for improvement throughout the game by the coaching staff. All too often our teams go into games looking completely unprepared for their opponent. routinely opponents make more appropriate adjustments both in game and at half time.open it seems that other teams are more prepared to expose our weaknesses then we are prepared to attack theirs. Often you will see another team have a career passing day against us, but on the other hand we really have a career office day against another team (unless they are called Texas).

Regarding my 3rd string QB comment, it's very disingenuous to suggeat that because a third stringer at Ohio State performed historically well that other third string quarterbacks should be expected to perform comparably. The third string quarterback in general is third string for a reason. He shouldn't be lighting any defense up. Especially when he's a 3rd string quarterback on a G5 or bottom feeder P5 team. With the exception of an OSU QB who showed the ability to beat the best teams consecutively, I cannot think of one instance where a third string quarterback routinely was talented enough to have repeated career days. So it's unfortunate when that career day is against BYU but then not reproducible against other opponents. I can only conclude from that that BYU's defense is either less capable or less prepared than those other opponents.
