and we watched as they brought not one, but TWO completely stripped sofas to the curb to throw away. The dog had chewed every inch of fabric off the wooden frame.
A few weeks later when we'd grown used to the quiet, we realized they had started to let the dog out to run around the back yard again. But no barking. Ever. We wondered if they'd got rid of it until we could hear it sniffing around the fence, but even when the dog smelled our cat, no barking...ever.
We asked how they had magically turned this rowdy, noisy dog into a mouse. Thing never barked EVER. They told us the solution: "Prozac." The dog had ADD and they were giving him prozac. I didn't miss the noise, but it seemed so wrong to me.
