There is the occasional Taysom or Staley, but when you're aiming for the cream
of the crop in athletics, you can't build from an anglo-polynesian core that draws from about 1 percent of the population (I'm factoring that many of the biggest LDS recruits go elsewhere, & many others are Yewt-oriented, or from inactive households & therefore not likely options.).
And luckily for us, we do have the solid islander element in our core. Things could definitely be worse.
