Ugh. 1990. Nationally relevant to the point of a 65-14 shellacking in the bowl..

and preceded by a 59-28 shellacking against Hawaii the game prior. I try to purge the memory of 1990 from my memory.

And on a somewhat related note...can you imagine what this board would have done to Lavell after those two losses? What Twitter would have done? I'm glad he didn't live in the age of social media. He was too good a man to have to endure that.
