What's the old saying...it's not where you start, it's where you finish?

That season was pretty damaging to the BYU brand on the whole. All eyes were on BYU because of the Heisman...and BYU laid eggs. It simply provided fodder to the people who said BYU padded their record by playing in the WAC...which frankly...was true.
