I wasn't intending a tax preparer and that's my fault.

I was intending someone you just pay to give you tax advice or a company like TaxAct, TurboTax, etc. that gives recommendations, etc. but doesn't actually sign your submission, make the entries, etc. on your behalf.

Meaning you still file the taxes, fill in the blanks, and the only signature on the bottom of the form is yours upon submission.
