While it's true that BYU has been less open with the media, I would still...
bet that every other beat writer has more and better sources at BYU than Jay Drew does.
I just don't see what he really offers that is unique, other media members have better sources. And Jay is not a fountain of football knowledge, it's not like you are getting any extra insight into the team because he can go give any extra insight into problems or good things about a scheme or individual players.
