This is about the current state of the program. You are the one building your mount Rushmore of BYU football off of beating a Bad Nebraska team, Boise State, an 8-5 Oklahoma team, a 4-8 UCLA team and some of the worst Texas teams that that program has seen in years. If BYU were the USU of the world, then those would matter... but they don't and you know why. Because we should be better than that... but we aren't. Because after those great wins came massive failures in the program. We beat a bad Texas team, followed by getting trounced on our home field by Utah and USU.. wow what fun.

We beat a decent Oklahoma team, but then get trounced on our home field by a very mediocre Florida State team. We beat a bad Nebraska team, and get embarrassed by Michigan... and the season isn't finished yet.

And who can forget 2008... the Quest season... getting embarrassed by TCU, Utah and Arizona. Lovely times.

I believe this program is worth more than what we are producing and I believe we can be better... but it won't be with Bronco. He could barely cut it in the MWC... and he certainly isn't getting it done as an Independent coach. It's time for a new direction.
