Time in the program matters much more than games played. Do you really think a senior who is starting for the first time (like Stewart last year for example) is the same as a sophomore starting for the first time (like Drew Miller or something)? Why do you think teams have the freshman backup QB send in the signals to the senior starter--do you think it's more efficient to do that?

Next fall, Tanner will have been through 2 spring practices and 1 fall camp with BYU. Taysom will have been through 5 springs and 5 fall camps. Who do you think would know the offense better? Who do you think would be the stronger leader in huddles? Who do you think would understand trick defensive schemes that get sprung on the team in the 4th quarter?
