Would you still go with Taysom if you knew that Tanner would transfer because
of your decision to give the Hill the nod?
Quarterbacks seem to be fragile when it comes to playing time and all want to start. Why else have we struggled to keep quarterbacks? Cooper, Olsen and Heaps all come to mind just in the Mendenhall era.
On paper it sounds easy to let Taysom start but to tell Tanner he may have to wait close to two years before being the starter again would be tough. Sure Taysom hasn't even completed a full season, but it has to be considered.
Also, do you want to mess with the confidence of Mangum. He could transfer and then what does the future look like?
