in every possession with Taysom in the game. BYU was getting huge chunks of yards on every play. In addition USU scored on 2 drives in the first half because of mental mistakes on BYU's part. A 3rd and long stop was negated because of a bone headed penalty. On another drive we held them to a long 50+ yard field goal attempt and Jordan Johnson jumped off sides by about 15 yards and the resulting penalty was enough for a first down and they ended up scoring a touchdown on the drive. USU scored a lot of points in the first half because we gifted them a lot of yards and second chances. After Taysom went down our offense was completely down and out knowing that what was shaping up to be an amazing season was gone with Taysom. Give USU credit for that game and the win but that game would have ended much different had Taysom not gone down.
