I'm an ALUF and have the same questions
Why is there hate from buy fans towards utah? I know a lot of buy fans that really hate the U. We are taught to not hate as members of the church. I embrace diversity at the U and have no qualms with people who smoke, drink, or practice out of our beliefs simply because they don't believe what i do. I am many good friends that respect me for my active LDS decisions and we both don't criticize for our differences.
I was raised in utah county and have grown to see a lot of hypocrisy with buy fans and lds members in general. No hate toward that but something I have witnessed for myself.
