I agree with the self righteous vs vitriolic comparison. Why do ALUFs frustrate
both sides immensely? It has been posted on this board 1000s of times that ALUFs are doing a poor job policing their own. If that is true, why would we be offensive to fellow Ute fans? As a Ute fan that goes to games surrounded by ALUFs - religion and football are never mixed and hatred for BYU would be out of bounds.
Why would an ALUF frustrate a BYU fan? I think most ALUFs don't harbor ill will toward BYU, they just don't always cheer for their rival. As if any school in the country has a fanbase full of people that cheer for their rival.
