BYU fans have just run in to one too many ALUF's who just refuse to acknowledge there's a segment of the Utah fan base that hide behind the facade of being a UTE fan, because it grants them a platform for spewing anti-Mormon hatred. One of the tests I have when a ute fan tells me byu sucks, is I ask them a trivia question on Utah trivia that most fans should know. If they answer correctly, I just try and take the high road and say I cheer for Utah except for when they play BYU. If they give me a blank stare of anger and don't even try to speculate a reasonable guess, I call them out "let's be honest, your not a true Utah fan, your just a BYU hater, there's a big difference". At that point we'll see about their vocabulary or defense. I won't even touch the anti-Mormon card, because it is already implied and things would only be worse.
