I distinctly remember thinking, "wow, he never does that," when I saw it happen. But he did it that time. Most of the time a CB isn't going to have a chance to lay the wood on a WR because he is running with him. But that time he was in zone, and he took full advantage of the opportunity to separate him from the ball.

You are right that that Davis isn't known for his physical play, but you can't say he has *never* made a big hit like that.
