I'm willing to grant a top 10 recruiting class is better than one ranked 67th, but if the 30th ranked class has an average rating of 3.2 stars and the 67th has an average rating of 2.8 stars, I cannot believe any ranking of the thousands of kids that get evaluated in their mid to late teens can be as precise as to declare #67 that much worse than #60, #50, or even #30.
The cream of the crop is easy to see, but after that I truly think it is just guessing. Perhaps recruiting classes should be ranked into tiers instead of exact numbers.
