I work in a big hospital on the border from Canada.
The city on the other side of the river has like 200k people in it, and is in the largest state by population in Canada.
It says a lot that they ship their heart attack patients over the border to our hospital on weekends or in the middle of the night because their cath lab closes after 5pm. I don't want that kind of a system here.
Couldn't agree more with you about the end of life care, though.
