It's not a good point because there will always be a ton of both
lds and non lds athletes who will simply not want the BYU experience. None of his points really increase those chances. It's a nice thought, but if it's worth a thought, we might as well start with "EVERY LDS athlete." Heck, that's WAY more of a legitimate shot and there are still going to be guys who aren't going to BYU.

Should they target/work harder on certain guys? Heck yeah. Those guys who can actually be considered misses. There are also too many other factors. There's the whole academic thing, which has made BYU miss on a few good quality guys just in the last few years. And that will always be a factor with Poly's as much as anyone. Academics alone takes "legitimate shot" out of the question for a ton of athletes. Then there's all of those guys who just flat out don't want what BYU offers, especially with the HC... And we haven't even touched FB reasons yet. Lots of factors. Fun thought, but carries little weight.
